Travon Vann scores 18 points and Steve Custis added 12 as West Frederick doubled up Glenwood's varsity 64-25. Ross Leonhart lead Glenwood with nine points.
West Frederick also won the jayvee game by a 51-37 margin. Leading scorers for West Frederick were Ernest Woods with 16 points and Larry Bowens with 10. Glenwood's leading scorer was Phil Ashtianie with 13 markers.
Monocacy's varsity defeated Catoctin 48-37. Matthew Foley led all scorers, netting 24 points for the Mustangs. Catoctin was lead by Bobby Groft's 13 points and Derek Woelfel's 11 points.
Led by Danny Foit's 12 points, Monocacy's jayvees took a 25-7 halftime lead and went on to win 48-17. Helping the cause for the Mustangs was Demitrius Dorsey with nine tallies. Catoctin's D.J. Doyle was team-high with four points.
Ballenger defeated Poolesville's varsity 47-26. The Bulldogs led 20-11 at halftime. Ballenger was led by Luis Machado with 16 points and Daniel Shannon with 12 points. Poolesvile was led by Matt Ray with eight points.
BC also won the jayvee game by a 46-32 count. Poolesville's high scorers were Chris Cabrera, Marcus Prince and Tommy Hughes, all with seven points. Ballenger's high scorers were Mikey Leizear and Brian Kidd with 12 points each. Jay Foreman chipped in with eight.
Mike Hall had 10 points and Mike Mullikin added eight as Windsor Knolls defeated MSD 48-32. Scott Lehmann had 13 points and Kevin Berrigan 12 to lead MSD.
TJ's varsity pulled ahead to stay in the second and went on to defeat Walkersville 52-29. Brandon Roscoe led all scorers with 13 points for the Patriots while Jason Kusk added 11. D.J. Mowery led Walkersville scorers with seven points. Ryan Dawson chipped in with six points off the bench, as did Eric Kemerer.
The Patriots also beat Walkersville's jayvees 39-32. TJ led 25-7 at the half, but Walkersville staged a second half rally that fell short. TJ was led by Ian Hahn with 12 points. Iman James and Guy Barnes added six each. Walkersville was led by Kevin Jandovitz with 14 points, Jon Butterfield added six. Jonathan Hill turned in a good defensive effort for Walkersville.
Scott Lehman scored 10 of his game-high 18 points in the third quarter as MSD pulled away from an 18-16 halftime lead to beat Oakdale 44-37. Daniel Fava added 12 points for the Orioles. Philip Monteau netted 10 for Oakdale.
Windsor Knolls' varsity broke open a close game in the second half, outscoring Middletown 22-6 to win 48-18. Brad Thompson led the Hawks with 12 points and Chris Lowe played an inspired game at both ends of the floor. Jeramie Parker had six points to lead the Knights.
The Hawks used clutch free throws by Kevin Sowers and Chris Patton to seal a 35-32 jayvee win. They jumped to a 25-14 halftime lead, but Middletown used a 15-0 run in the second half to take a short-lived lead. Mike Oursdler had an outstanding game for the Knights with 11 points and Mike Riggin finished with nine. Andrew Stephens led all scores with 15 points for WK and Chris Patton chipped in eight.
Luis Marchado and Kevin Henry had 14 points apiece and Brian Sweeney added 12 as Ballenger Creek's varsity downed Brunswick 62-27. Evan Chaney had a team-high seven points for Brunswick.
BC won the jayvee contest 52-27 behind a 12-point effort from Mikey Leizear. Jordan Borek and Brian Kidd also knocked down eight points each for the winners while Austin Darling had eight points and Houston Darling seven in a losing cause.
Linganore placed three players in double figures - Zach Cratty (13), Josh Hoyle (13) and Jeremiah Cook (12) - in claiming a 65-41 varsity triumph over Glenwood. The Gladiators' Nick Marshall tossed in a game-high 19 points.
The Lancers also won the jayvee game 58-31 with Vinnie Weaver accounting for 13 points, Tyler Ingram nine and David Lilly grabbing 13 rebounds. Phil Ashtianie paced Glenwood with 15 markers.
TJ's varsity prevailed over St. John's 55-42. The Patriots were led by Artez Smallwood with 21 points and Brandon Roscoe with 10 points. Paul Crone and John Donaghue tallied 13 points each for the Vikings.
The Patriots also won the jayvee game 68-9. Albert Bastian had 10 points to lead TJ. Matt Shekletski had six points for the Vikings.

The Hawks led 22-19 at the half and extended the lead to 10 points before the Bulldogs rallied to tie it at 34. Windsor Knolls was led by Mike Hall with 16 points and Zach Kebetz with nine. Ballenger was led by Luiz Machado with 14 points and Daniel Shannon with 11.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-9 halftime lead and won the jayvee game 37-27. Ballenger was led by Kirk Fox and Brian Kidd with eight points each. Andrew Stephens tossed in 18 of the 27 scored by the Hawks.
Oakdale picked up it's first varsity win of the season by a 33-22 against Brunswick. Phil Monteau had 10 points for the winners while Robert Bennett netted seven points and Chris Bryant and Adam Philp notched six each. Grant Wilson had 12 points and Marcus Henderson eight for Brunswick.
Behind Kevin Burkhardt’s 17 points and 12 rebounds and Riley Cook’s free throw with 10 seconds left, the Oakdale jayvee also earned it's first win of the season by defeating Brunswick, 33-29. Austin Darling led the Railroaders with 10 points.
West Frederick got 13 points from Q'Monte Matheny and 10 from Steven Custis in defeating Catoctin's varsity 54-30. Derek Woelfel tallied eight points and Bobby Groft added seven for the Cougars.

Monty James sparked the jayvee Pats in the second half as they pulled away to a 34-22 win. He led all scorers with 13 points and had five rebounds. Cory Campbell had six points and 10 rebounds, Ian Hahn added six points for TJ. Poolesville was led by Chris Cabrera with 11 points.
Ballenger Creek's varsity pulled away in the second half to defeat Middletown 46-26. The winners, who led 21-16 at intermission, were led by Kevin Henry and A.J. Gardner with 13 points each and Luiz Machado with 12 points. Middletown got 12 points from Pat McCarrick.

Windsor Knolls put in a solid overall effort to hand St. John's its first varsity defeat of the season, 55-33. The Hawks' Mike Hall and Mike Mullikin were each in double figures, scoring 13 and 14 points, respectively. The Vikings' Paul Crone led all scorers with 15 points.

St. John's varsity closed out the final game of the December schedule defeating Middletown 36-18, running it's record to 7-0. Paul Crone and Bart Sapp each had eleven points to lead the way for the Vikings. The Knights were led by Ryan Gilligan who tallied eight.
Middletown took the jayvee game 43-14 with Nicholas Rutien tossing in a team-high ten points. Anthony Oliverio and Shane Davis had four points each for the Vikings.
