SPRING COMES TO SHEPHERDSTOWN ON MAYDAY

It was wet, but the afternoon rains didn't dampen the fun and enjoyment of MAYDAY in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. It looked like rain all morning, but the "heavy dew" held off until after everyone had a turn around the MAYPOLE on the green.

People lined the street to watch the dancers and merry-makers march to the green by McMurren Hall.

Around the maypole they danced, welcoming the Spring of the year.

Kids, from six to sixty enjoyed the day.

Everyone enjoyed the fun and good feelings. There were some "green" people too....
