Welcome to Neuemedia, the personal website of Jeremy Woollen, artist, designer,
web architect and developer. This project has been several months in gestation, and like
all good websites, has been designed to be ever-evolving and changing as Jeremys
work matures and develops.
The site has been built primarily to showcase
Jeremys abilities as an artist, designer and website developer. Displayed in the
portfolio section are over a dozen websites Jeremy has personally designed and executed
for clients such as CellularOne, National Institutes of Health, and Fitzgerald Automalls.
In addition, Jeremy also worked extensively on the construction and maintenance of the
site for the Archdiocese of Washington D.C.,
an enormous project that has taken months to fully realise.
Jeremy is currently the webmaster for Global Management Systems, Inc., in Bethesda,
Maryland, where he is working on their new corporate internet and intranet sites.
Also included in the portfolio section are
examples of Jeremys work in the field of print graphic design, including some of the
magazines, brochures, and other material that he has had printed over the years. With many
of these publications, Jeremy was also involved in the editorial side of production. The
portfolio also contains samples of Jeremys more personal artwork, including a few
portraits (some of which have been published), paintings and digital artwork.
Jeremy has given much thought to the growing
importance of the World Wide Web, attempting to cut through the hype, and assess its true
value in todays world. In The Web section of this website, he offers
some thoughts and observations based on the solid experience he has gained.
Also included in this site is Jeremys
online resume, which provides all the background information to his accomplishments and
career.
Jeremy is excited by the new medium of the World
Wide Web, and it has been his intention to express some of that excitement and dynamism in
this website. Thank you for taking the time to browse through these pages. Jeremy welcomes
comments, and it is his hope that you enjoy viewing his work.
All the work contained in this site - design,
graphic images and text - is Jeremy's own.
Currently based in the Washington DC. area,
