NOMINATIONS FOR WALS:  I received very few nominations before the break for WALS for next year.  I'm trying again: send me suggestions for the lambda lunch nominees, and I'll solicit for votes.  Send names by Jan. 5th!  You can also nominate directly.  Nominations for the 2012-2013 Wednesday Afternoon Lecture Series will be accepted from December 1, 2011, to January 16, 2012.
