Subject: lambda lunch update and WALS nomination
Jan. 16th (today) is the deadline for WALS nominations. On behalf of lambda lunch, I have submitted a nomination for Carol Gross, our top vote getter. Not that far behind were: Dianne Newman, Bob Sauer, Roberto Kolter, and Olaf Schneewind. If you want to send in a nomination for any of these people on behalf of lambda lunch, please do so ASAP (I would guess the web site will still be open for a day or so), and let me know. You can say that they were strongly supported by lambda lunch.
