On Voting
At stake here is whether everybody's vote
in the United States of America counts.
George W. Bush thinks that not every vote should be counted,
which means that compared to himself becomming president,
he thinks that you don't matter.
He therefore is making every possible move to block the counting.

531 U. S. (2000)
Stevens, J., dissenting:
-
"Counting every legally cast vote cannot constitute irreparable harm."
-
"Preventing the recount from being completed will inevitably
cast a cloud on the legitimacy of the election."

'See, e.g., Fla. Stat. (paragraphs)
101.5614(5), 102.166 (2000). In fact, the statutory
provision relating to damaged and defective ballots states that
"[n]o vote shal be declared invalid or void if there is a clear
indication of the intent of the votor as determined by the
canvassing board."'
