AITC objectives and scope
AITC SCOPE:
TC will address the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligent
Systems (IS) technologies and methods to aeronautic and astronautic systems,
the verification and validation of those systems, and the education
of the AIAA membership in the use of AI and IS technologies in other disciplines.
The systems of interest include both military and commercial, aerospace
and ground systems. AI and IS technologies of interest include expert
systems, planners, model- and constraint-based reasoners for design through
manufacturing and operations, natural language interfaces, data fusion,
neural networks, fuzzy systems, evolutionary algorithms, and data mining.
ACTION ITEM--ALL -- Please comment and rewrite as you think it should be.
We need to finalize this and get the scope redone (Bowen and Mitch, please
