Girls League are split into three divisions - I, II, and III. The Boys League are split into three divisions, Chesapeake (former CMC), Piedmont (former MVAL) and Antietam - based largely on their high school league affiliations. Six teams per division were officially designated to break up the old CMC and MVAL Divisions. The boys will host two tournaments, Chesapeake/Piedmont (C/P) and Antietam/Piedmont (A/P). The Girls will host three tournaments, one per Divisions I, II, and III.
Boys League teams play home-away against each divisional opponent and once against each team outside it's division.
The Girls program also plays home-away against each divisional opponent and four to six additional games outside there divisions.
The postseason tournaments are awarded on a rotating basis. Monocacy and Poolesville will host this year's Boys tournament while the Girls tourney will be held at location in Frederick to be determined at a later date.
No varsity player may attain the age of 15 prior to Jan. 1 of the current playing season and no jayvee player may turn 14 prior to Apr. 1 of that season.
