• Hancock, Maryland, at about Mile 124 along the Canal and a mile away, the Cohill Manor Bed and Breakfast (Jan. 2006 - closed for renovation - hopes to be open later in the year), and the Tonoloway Lodge a couple of miles from town. The River Run Bed and Breakfast opened around January 2010. There's also a bike shop right in Hancock. The Church of Latter Day Saints has a family history center there where you can do genealogical research. About 5 miles into PA is the Buck Valley Ranch.
