Our Story So Far: The story line, if you have not had time to follow the previous 733 or so entries (!) is my slow realization that earth is being invaded by left handed DNA people ... NOTE: I am currently NOT adding entries with images - too much else to do!! Please enjoy a visit to my web site and read my papers.

1. In Microbe Magazine, Feb 2010, page 62, Figure 1B Jizhong Zhou, Zhili He, Joy D. Van Nostrand, Liyou Wu and Ye Deng report on environmental collection of left handed DNA samples. First reported on 2010 Feb 24, as of 2010 Feb 24 (Thanks to an anonymous lefter for pointing this one out!)

4. Signature Of Controversy: Responses to Critics of Signature in the Cell discusses the controversy about the invasion of left handed DNA beings and their taking over planet earth. First reported on 2010 May 20, as of 2010 May 20 (Thanks to "DNA-Jock" for pointing this one out!) 2010 Jun 05: The image was corrected! There are two depictions of DNA in the image, the foreground DNA image in blue and a background DNA image in grey. In the original the blue foreground image was left handed and the background was right handed. Remarkably, in the correction the blue foreground image was reversed but the grey background image was kept the same so now both are right handed. For your first visit to the Left Handed Hall of Fame page I suggest that you follow the story over all of the years. After that you can look at each year individually from the table below. Note: just because a year has gone by does not mean we haven't found more examples for that year!

1997 and 1998 were bumper crop years
and 1999 beat them more than 2 fold. 2000 was a record year, thanks to help from friends around the world (60 of the 97 cases, 63%!). 2001 exceeded even that record! 2002 was lower - are we making headway?
