Our Story So Far: The story line, if you have not had time to follow the previous 800 or so entries (!) is my slow realization that earth is being invaded by left handed DNA people ... Please also enjoy a visit to my work web site and read my papers.

   Obviously using this background gives a subliminal signal that "left handed DNA is the real DNA". So I infer that the person who posted on FaceBook has left handed DNA and is part of the invasion force! First reported on 2019 Aug 13, as of 2019 Aug 13 (Thanks to John S. This entry refers to a published scientific paper "How quantum entanglement in DNA synchronizes double-strand breakage by type II restriction endonucleases" that earned a spot in the Left Handed DNA Hall of Fame because they turned ordinary right handed DNA into left handed DNA. They also describe how EcoRI cuts DNA by using quandumb mechanical effects (i.e. dumb quantum mechanics). They claim that a restriction enzyme can shield the DNA from thermal noise, allowing the quandumb effect. This is not reasonable because the restriction enzyme and the DNA it is bound to are being bombarded intensely by the surrounding water at all frequencies and at all wavelengths up to a cutoff (i.e. white thermal noise). It's a thermal maelstrom. There is no way that a protein molecule could shield anything - the waves would pass through the molecule disrupting quandumb effects. See this paper about molecular dynamics of the DNA-EcoRI complex in which Figure 5 shows the average (RMSD) wiggling of ALL the residues of the protein. 14. The Next Generation of Science Standards have to be rewritten so that little kids who have right handed DNA do not recognize left handed DNA as dangerous because it will replace them! 15. MilliporeSigma, a respectible company that makes ultra pure water and thousands of valuable compounds for scientists has decided to provide a line of CRISPR reagents that work on left handed DNA. Why? Because the market is growing and right handed DNA people are becomming rare. For your first visit to the Left Handed Hall of Fame page I suggest that you follow the story over all of the years. After that you can look at each year individually from the table below. Note: just because a year has gone by does not mean we haven't found more examples for that year!

1997 and 1998 were bumper crop years
and 1999 beat them more than 2 fold. 2000 was a record year, thanks to help from friends around the world (60 of the 97 cases, 63%!). 2001 exceeded even that record! 2002 was lower - are we making headway?
